14, 2011; Brewster, NY: Macromark, Inc. announced today that long-time
industry professional, Rick Sarli has joined the organization and will
immediately take on the role of company Controller.
Sarli’s
previous position had been with Direct Media where for 15 years, he served in
various capacities, including Chief Financial Officer, Controller and Chief
Operating Officer. He held these positions while the firm was a private entity
and during the years it was acquired by public companies Acxiom and InfoUSA.
While with Direct Media, he set fiscal policy and oversaw an accounting
department that processed transactions totaling more than $300,000,000
annually.
Macromark CEO,
Dave Klein states, “There aren’t too many individuals who have as strong
a financial background, as well as the direct marketing expertise that Rick
has. All of us at Macromark are thrilled that someone with such experience has
joined our organization”.
Sarli
will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and reporting on all of
Macromark’s financial activities; as well as providing key input on new
strategic alliances and partnerships.
In addition,
Sarli will help integrate systems involving all of the firm’s multi-channel
core competencies and initiatives. Klein adds, “We help our clients grow
their businesses through direct mail, interactive marketing, print ads and
telemarketing acquisition programs. The reporting and accounting disciplines
are different for each channel so to better serve our clients, Rick will build
and implement common metrics and procedures across all channels”.
He
holds a B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting from York College and is an
active CPA in both New York and Pennsylvania
